Dockx app now also integrated into website

Dockx Rental is the first rental company to offer you the choice of reserving and picking up a delivery van via an employee in a Dockx Service Shop or completely contactless by using the app. Thanks to this integration, you can collect a vehicle with a digital key 24/7, both in Dockx shops and from one of our partners.

How does it work?

To make it even easier for customers, we offer the option of rent vehicles using our app, which is now integrated into the Dockx Rental website. Thanks to the integration, you can use the website to choose between the familiar traditional rental method with staff or a contactless rental with more freedom to choose the rental period and with more available locations. This is how you can save a lot of time compared to booking in the traditional way. 

Via Dockx Service Shop

If you choose the option Via Dockx Service Shop in the booking module, you will rent your vehicle using the familiar traditional rental method with the staff in one of our Dockx Service Shops. The rental process works as follows: 

  • Book your vehicle online, choose the option Via Dockx Service Shop.
  • Pick up the vehicle at the Dockx Service Shop of your choice during opening hours, Monday to Saturday, 7:30 am to noon and 1 pm to 6:30 pm.
  • Dockx staff complete your registration, draw up the rental agreement, and hand over the vehicle.
  • Return the vehicle to the Dockx Service Shop of your choice.
  • Receive your invoice by email after your rental.

Via the app

If you choose the option via the app, you select the booking module, which makes it easy to rent a delivery or moving van in a few steps: 

  • Book your vehicle online, choose the option Via the app.
  • Download or open the app for Android or Apple.
  • Log in to your account and complete your registration as needed. Take a picture of your eID and driving licence using the app and you are ready to go. Quite a time saver!
  • Pay the deposit via the app before picking up the vehicle.
  • Start the rental from the home screen in the app. Open and close the vehicle easily with your digital key.
  • Return the vehicle to the location where you picked it up.
  • Receive your invoice via the app immediately after your rental. 

Of course, it is also possible to make the reservation using the app. The choice is yours!

Locations

Dockx has various locations throughout Belgium, these are the Dockx Service Shops and Pick-up Points. The list of available collection points depends on the choice you make: reservation via Dockx Service Shop or reservation via the app.

Via Dockx Service Shop

If you make a reservation Via Dockx Service Shops, you can collect and pick up your vehicle at one of our 15 Dockx Service Shops. Dockx staff will assist you, during the opening hours, at these locations. You can choose from the full range of rental vehicles.

Are you a business customer?

Companies can also rent delivery and moving vans more easily using the app. For example, business customers have the option of linking multiple drivers to one account. This means drivers do not waste time when picking up the vehicle and can leave immediately. As a Fleet Manager, you can easily assign delivery vans and keep a clear overview. For the time being, this functionality is only available using the app.
